The journey starts in Arusha, not far from where the X Plastaz live. What was originally planned to be a full day of video shooting starts late as the brothers have gone to a local club the night before, so it's in fact afternoon when they set out to explore the scenery for one of the video takes. 20 minutes by taxi bus, and another 10 minutes walk leads into a rainforest along the Lake Duluti crater lake. We are the only visitors and set out along a bush path.
Soon we stumble upon the hut of a Dorobo, a watchman from a people closely related to the Maasai. He exchanges greetings with Lesikar and soon we are invited to use his dwelling as the backdrop to the Ushanta video.
Ruff saves his energy as the night before has taken its toll. A little later he will be top notch for the shooting of his verse.
Lesikar is carefully making his way around the steep slope of the lake. The distance between him and the camera is never more than 2 meters.
