Nini dhambi kwa mwenye dhiki (released April 2006) Faza Nelly's last work, this song of compassion for the poor and disabled was recorded in a poor neighbourhood of Arusha (Unga Limited), in the village of Yamat's family (Eluwai) and on the summit of Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano. or Msimu kwa msimu (released December 2003) The video of Msimu kwa Msimu set another trend in Tanzanian video production with its sophisticated special effects. or Aha! (released November 2002) There's no video that shows more of Tanzanian cultural traditions than Aha. Shot entirely on location close to Monduli, on a mountain in the heart of Maasailand, the video is the story of three guys from town who venture into the bush on the back of a battered Jeep. In a Maasai boma (kraal, dwelling) they meet with the elders and rediscover their cultural heritage. They end up milking a goat, dancing to traditional Maasai chants and drinking goat blood in a sacred place at the bottom of a dried-up waterfall. The Maasai village is the place where X Plastaz' group member Yamat lives when he's not in town with the emcees. This video reached the top of Tanzania's videocharts in January 2003. Ushanta (single released April 2002, video released November 2002) The video to the second promo cd-single from the new X Plastaz album. This was shot in Mhelo (Lushoto) and Lake Duluti (Arusha) in Tanzania and different spots in Holland over a period of six months in 2001. Reached the top of Tanzania's video charts in January 2003. Bamiza (released January 2001) Recorded live at club Mawingu, Arusha, in December 1997, the Bamiza single became a number one hit in the Tanzanian charts in early 98. Only two years later, the music video came out. A low-budget production, shot in just one afternoon, most Tanzanian hiphop heads agreed that with its rough shots and editing, this was the best local hiphop video so far.
